Nervous? Yeah, a little, but more Faithful than nervous, so I should be good.
Excited? Without a doubt. I’m excited for the people that have never experienced God on this kind of level. I think it’ll shake the fabric of their faith (in a good way) and really clear up any shrouds of smoke that has been in their lives. It’ll open up their eyes, their hearts, and souls to a God that is always willing to Love no matter what.
It’s quite amazing really at how life has come along these past months. It has not even been a year and it is so evident to see how much life can change when accepting just one thing. And that one thing is something that is eternal - God’s Love. I wonder how things are going to be once a full year comes around. Two years. Five years. Ten years. The rest of my life.
I’m excited and very anxious to see how people are going to react to everything and anything that is going to happen. I wonder if they will be able to speak of the things that they have experienced to non-believers and believers alike once they go home. I think that is when their Faith is really going to show. Sure it’s one huge step to open up during the experience, but it’s another huge leap of Faith to even speak boldly about everything that has happened once you’re out of that environment. How bold will you be?
Finally, it’s been quite evident that everyday leading up to this fateful day (02/24, tomorrow) has been a Spiritual Battle nonetheless. I never was a believer in this “Warfare” that existed, but man has that changed. Just this morning I heard it was going to snow a whole bunch tonight and tomorrow. Sure others see it as just bad luck with bad weather, but the way I see it is that it’s the work of the Enemy. To prevent people from driving and getting to a specific destination. To create a roadblock for those in order for them to not get blessed. With that being said, I must say we ALL - Brothers and Sisters in Christ - must be prayerful and mindful/aware of the battle that is happening right in front of us. Be prayerful and Faithful to fight against the Enemy and the evil deeds that follow. However, understand this; that God is and will always be above the Enemy. That victory lies within our God and regardless of our prayers or not, He will always trump the Enemy. How amazing is that? It blows my mind and encourages me whenever I think of it.
